Navigating Year Two of Computer Science
Reflections on the challenges and learnings from my second year at SRMU Lucknow, and what lies ahead.
The second year of my B-Tech in Computer Science at SRMU Lucknow has been a whirlwind of new concepts, challenging projects, and late-night coding sessions. From diving deeper into data structures and algorithms to getting my first taste of software engineering principles, it's been an incredibly formative period.
One of the highlights was working on a group project to develop a small web application. It taught me the importance of version control (Git became my best friend!), teamwork, and how to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
Key Learnings:
- The power of consistent practice in coding.
- Effective debugging is an art form.
- Theoretical knowledge comes alive when applied to practical problems.
While I'm still exploring different areas within CS, subjects like artificial intelligence and machine learning are starting to pique my interest. I'm excited to see what the next year brings!
